Develop the webpage for my family by using "Editey"

I created webpage for my family, so I briefly summarize about it.

Motivation
The start was in the middle of May.
When I checked facebook, the chat about Mother's day came into my sight.
I thought that it's important event only in Japan, but the topic is also popular in UK and people asked me

"What will you do for your mother ??"

then I answered that
"My mother is in Japan, so I can't do anything for my mother."

But I felt miserable because I answered same thing again and again, then

"I should do something"

that's why I started developing my family's homepage.
Father's day and my father's birthday came while I developed the homepage, so these are also included.


Web server
I started developing homepage, but I'm not familiar with web development.
My understanding is that I need to edit html and do something.
At first, I was editing html while investigating in google.

Write html, check the view in browser, modify it, write html, ...
Although I took this cycle for a while, I knew that server is required to publish the webpage.

Then I found the Editey, which is free service for web development.
This service is provided by google, and we can use the google drive as host server. Editey has many cool templates.

And most great point is that I can share everything with my family, because google drive can share any file with others if they have google accounts. So this service is really suitable for family's webpage. I want to develop the webpage with my family after my family's coding skill is growing up.


Thought
I wrote the motivation was Mother's day, but I have another reason.
The reason is "facebook is really messy".

In the past facebook, we can share the photos, interesting knowledges, articles, experiences, and so on. But recently, advertisement is increasing, and many comments such as "happy birthday!!" are also increasing, so I can't follow everything. The flow is really fast.
I know that increasing of contents is necessary for business.

That's why I conclude that I can share only important information in our webpage. The past information and most important information are sorted in my brain during I was developing the webpage, so I think that this is good trial for me.

If I update the family's webpage, this blog will also be updated.
